SALONPAS PAIN RELIEF PATCH is used for the temporary and effective relief of minor aches and pains in muscles and joints. It is beneficial for discomfort associated with stiff neck, simple backache, sore shoulder, arthritis, strains, bruises, and sprains. The active components work by creating a warming and cooling sensation on the skin, which helps to counteract deeper aches. This makes it a suitable solution for localized, acute muscle and joint pain.

Formulation / Ingredients

SALONPAS PAIN RELIEF PATCH contains: Methyl Salicylate 105mg + L-Menthol 31.5mg

Side Effects

SALONPAS PAIN RELIEF PATCH common side effects include localized reactions such as redness, mild itching, irritation, or a stinging sensation at the application site. In less common instances, you might experience blistering, swelling, or unusual pain in the area where the patch is applied. If this product is used in excessive amounts, serious effects like ringing in the ears or nausea may occur, which warrants immediate removal of the patch. Stop use right away if signs of a serious localized or generalized allergic reaction appear.

Directions and Dosage

• Adults and Adolescents (12+ years): Apply 1 patch to the affected area. Do not use more than 1 patch per affected area at a time. Do not use more than a total of 4 patches in 24 hours. Remove the patch after at most 8 hours.
• Children under 12 years of age: Use is not recommended.

Maximum treatment duration: 5 days in a row.

Contraindications

Do not apply to cuts, rashes, wounds, or skin that is otherwise damaged or irritated. Avoid use if you have a known allergy to common pain relievers of the salicylate class. This product must not be used concurrently with a heating device or other similar topical pain-relieving applications on the same site.

Special Precautions

• For external application only, and avoid contact with the eyes, mucous membranes, or rashes.
• Wash hands well after applying or removing the patch to prevent accidental transfer of residue.
• Do not apply this product with a heating device.
• Discontinue use if skin irritation or rash develops, or if symptoms persist beyond 5 days.

Is it safe to take it with other medications?

Caution is advised when combining this topical product with oral non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents due to a potential increase in adverse effects. There is also a small chance of interaction with medicines that affect blood clotting, such as warfarin.

How should I store it?

Store at room temperature, protected from direct sunlight and excessive moisture. Properly discard used patches by folding the sticky sides together before placing them in the trash.
