Side Effects
MYREMOL Paracetamol 250mg for Kids common side effects include gastrointestinal discomfort, slight nausea, and other generally mild reactions. Undesirable effects are considered rare and are often minimal. Infrequently reported adverse effects include hypersensitivity reactions such as skin rashes, which may be severe. Very rare but serious hematological reactions, including low platelet counts (thrombocytopenia) and low white blood cell counts (leucopenia), have been reported.
Directions and Dosage
- Dosage for Kids 6–8 years: 5 mL.
- Dosage for Kids 8–10 years: 7.5 mL.
- Dosage for Kids 10–12 years: 10 mL.
- Dosage for Adolescents 12–16 years: 10–15 mL.
- Dosage for Adults (16+ years): 10–20 mL.
Doses may be repeated every 4 to 6 hours as necessary. Do not exceed a maximum of 4 doses in any 24 hour period. This concentration is not recommended for children under 6 years of age. Maximum treatment duration for fever is 3 days and for pain is 5 days.
Contraindications
Contraindications include a prior history of hypersensitivity or a severe allergic reaction to the primary analgesic component or any of the suspension's inactive ingredients.
Special Precautions
- Exercise caution when administering to individuals with pre-existing impaired hepatic (liver) or renal (kidney) function.
- The risk of serious liver damage is significantly increased with chronic heavy intake of alcoholic beverages.

Co-administration with certain anti-nausea medications, like metoclopramide or domperidone, may accelerate the rate at which this product is absorbed into the system. Other medications, such as cholestyramine (used for high cholesterol) or probenecid (used for gout), may impact absorption or excretion, potentially altering concentrations in the body. It may also interact with blood-thinning agents like warfarin if taken regularly over long periods.
