Side Effects

Directions and Dosage
- Adults (18+ years): Initially 500 mg (2 capsules), followed by 250 mg (1 capsule) every 6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 7 days of treatment.
- Adolescents (14–17 years): Initially 500 mg, followed by 250 mg every 6 hours.
- Kids 14+ years: Same as adult dosage for pain or dysmenorrhea.
Not recommended for children under 14 years of age. Maximum daily dosage should not exceed 1500 mg. Duration of treatment for acute pain should not exceed 7 days.
Contraindications
Active ulceration or chronic inflammation of the upper or lower gastrointestinal tract. History of hypersensitivity or asthma induced by aspirin or other NSAIDs. Use is prohibited in patients with severe renal or hepatic disease and those undergoing heart bypass surgery.
Special Precautions
- Should be taken with food or milk to minimize gastrointestinal upset.
- Use with extreme caution in patients with a history of hypertension or cardiac impairment.
- Immediately stop usage if skin rash, mucosal lesions, or any sign of hypersensitivity appears.
Is it safe to take it with other medications?
Risk of gastrointestinal bleeding increases when taken with anticoagulants or corticosteroids. It may reduce the efficacy of diuretics and antihypertensive drugs while increasing the toxicity of lithium or methotrexate.
