Indications / Uses

FLANAX PLUS Gel is used for topical relief of muscle aches, joint pain, inflammation, and stiffness associated with arthritis, sprains, strains, or back pain. It combines anti-inflammatory action with soothing topical analgesics to target localized discomfort. The gel formulation penetrates the skin to provide targeted relief for acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.

Formulation / Ingredients
FLANAX PLUS Gel contains: Piroxicam + Methyl Salicylate + Menthol + Eugenol

Side Effects

FLANAX PLUS Gel common side effects include: localized skin reactions such as redness, itching, burning sensation, or rash at the application site. Less frequently, users may experience skin dryness, peeling, or photosensitivity. Discontinue use if severe irritation or allergic reactions occur.

Directions and Dosage

• Adults (18+ years): Apply a thin layer to affected area 3-4 times daily. Gently massage until absorbed. Do not exceed 4 applications in 24 hours.
• Adolescents (12-17 years): Apply to affected area up to 3 times daily. Maximum treatment duration: 7 days unless directed otherwise.

Not recommended for children under 12. Avoid application on broken skin, open wounds, or mucous membranes. Maximum continuous use: 14 days unless medically supervised.

Contraindications

Do not use with known allergy to NSAIDs or salicylates, on damaged skin, or with other topical medications. Avoid if history of asthma, nasal polyps, or severe allergic reactions after taking aspirin or NSAIDs.

Special Precautions

• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes
• Do not apply with occlusive dressings
• Limit sun exposure during treatment
• Discontinue if skin irritation develops

Is it safe to take it with other medications?

Concurrent use with oral NSAIDs may increase systemic absorption. Avoid combining with other topical analgesics. Allow skin to recover between applications of different topical products.

How should I store it?

Store below 30°C. Keep tube tightly closed. Protect from direct sunlight. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
