Bactidol Lozenge is used for the symptomatic relief of sore throat, mouth infections, and minor throat irritations. It provides antiseptic action against bacteria and viruses associated with oral and pharyngeal conditions. The lozenge format offers soothing relief for discomfort during swallowing or inflammation.

Formulation / Ingredients
Bactidol Lozenge contains: Dichlorobenzyl Alcohol 1.2mg + Amylmetacresol 600mcg per lozenge.

Side Effects

Directions and Dosage

Not recommended for children under 6 years. Maximum treatment duration: 3 days unless symptom relief occurs sooner. Discontinue if symptoms persist beyond 3 days.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation. Not for use in patients with phenylketonuria due to aspartame content.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

Avoid unless prescribed by a healthcare provider. Limited data on fetal risk during pregnancy or excretion in breast milk.
