RE-LEAF FORTE Sambong Leaf is used for its dual function as a natural diuretic and a remedy for urinary tract stones in individuals with normal kidney function. It helps in the dissolution or prevention of stones by assisting in the increased passage of urine. Additionally, it is indicated for the management of excess fluid retention and swelling, commonly associated with mild to moderate congestive heart issues. This action promotes the excretion of excess fluids from the body.

Side Effects

RE-LEAF FORTE Sambong Leaf common side effects include: mild gastrointestinal discomfort such as stomach pain, flatulence, and constipation. Allergic reactions, characterized by itching and skin irritation, may occur in individuals sensitive to plants from the ragweed family. Other reported effects are increased frequency of urination due to its primary action, and occasionally, a ringing in the ears. If these effects persist, seeking attention is advised.

Directions and Dosage

• Dosage for Adults (18+ years) for fluid retention (Diuretic): 1 tablet 3 times a day. Do not exceed 3 tablets in 24 hours.
• Dosage for Adults (18+ years) for stone relief (Anti-urolithiasis): 2 tablets 3 times a day. Do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours.

Not recommended for children as safety and effectiveness have not been clearly established.

Contraindications

Use should be avoided by individuals who have a known sensitivity to the components. It must not be taken if X-ray results show the urinary passageway is blocked, which could cause complications.

Special Precautions

• Intake should be avoided if X-rays of the urinary tract show signs of an obstructed passageway.
• An adequate intake of additional water, specifically 3 liters every 24 hours, is necessary when taken for the dissolution of stones to counteract the fluid loss.
• Safety for use in younger individuals has not been established.
