SYMDEX-D Oral Drops is used for the symptomatic relief of cough and nasal congestion associated with the common cold, allergies, and other upper respiratory tract infections in infants and children. It helps to relieve runny nose, sneezing, itchy and watery eyes, and cough.
Side-effects
SYMDEX-D Oral Drops common side effects include drowsiness, dizziness, and dry mouth. In some cases, children may experience nausea, vomiting, or stomach upset. Less common side effects can include restlessness, irritability, and difficulty sleeping. Rare but serious side effects like allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling) also requires immediate medical attention.
It's crucial to monitor your child for any adverse reactions and report them to your pediatrician.
Dosage / Direction
The recommended dosage and frequency of administration is:
- 7 -23 months: 0.75mL
- 4 – 6 months: 0.5mL
- 1 – 3 months: 0.25mL
To be taken every 6 hours or as prescribed by a physician.
Administer with or without food.
Contraindications
SYMDEX-D Oral Drops is contraindicated in infants below a certain age as specified on the product label or by a healthcare professional.
