SOLMUX 500mg is used for treating respiratory conditions with excessive mucus production such as chronic bronchitis and COPD. It helps reduce mucus viscosity and eases expectoration in acute respiratory tract infections. This mucolytic agent also supports bronchial clearance in sinusitis and otitis media.

Directions and Dosage

• Adults and adolescents (15+ years): 1 capsule (500mg) 3 times daily. Maximum: 1,500mg daily.
• Children 5-14 years: ½ capsule (250mg) 4 times daily. Maximum: 1,000mg daily.

Not recommended for children under 5 without medical approval. Treatment duration typically ranges from 5-10 days based on symptom improvement.

Contraindications
