Indications / Uses

ROBITUSSIN Capsule is used for relieving chest congestion by thinning and loosening mucus in the airways. It helps make coughs more productive in respiratory conditions like bronchitis, colds, and sinusitis. This expectorant facilitates easier breathing by clearing phlegm from the respiratory tract.

ROBITUSSIN Capsule contains: Guaifenesin 200mg per softgel capsule.

Side Effects

ROBITUSSIN Capsule common side effects include: nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, and headache. Less frequently, dizziness or skin rash may occur. These reactions are typically mild and resolve without intervention.

Directions and Dosage

• Adults and Adolescents (12+ years): 1-2 capsules every 4 hours. Maximum daily dose: 8 capsules (1,600mg) in 24 hours.

Not recommended for children under 12 years. Maximum treatment duration: 7 days unless symptom persists.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to components. Concurrent use with cough suppressants.
