Indications / Uses

Robikids Suspension is used for treating respiratory conditions with excessive mucus production in children, including bronchitis, asthma, and sinusitis. It helps thin and loosen viscous phlegm for easier expulsion. This pediatric formulation provides effective mucolytic action for airway clearance during respiratory infections.

Robikids Suspension contains: Carbocisteine 250mg per 5mL + orange flavoring.

Side Effects

Robikids Suspension common side effects include: nausea, gastric discomfort, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. Less frequently, skin rash or dizziness may occur. These reactions are typically mild and resolve with continued treatment.

Directions and Dosage

• Children 2-5 years: 5mL (250mg) 3 times daily. Maximum daily dose: 750mg.
• Children 6-12 years: 10mL (500mg) 3 times daily. Maximum daily dose: 1,500mg.

Not recommended for children under 2 years. Maximum treatment duration: 8-10 days unless medically advised. Shake well before each use.

Contraindications

Active peptic ulcer disease. History of gastrointestinal hemorrhage. Hypersensitivity to components.

Special Precautions

• Monitor closely in history of gastric sensitivity
• Maintain adequate hydration during treatment
• Contains sucrose - caution in diabetes

Is it safe to take it with other medications?

May reduce effectiveness of antitussives. No significant interactions with common antibiotics. Avoid concurrent use with gastric irritants.
