Indications / Uses

PLEMEX FORTE Lagundi Syrup is used for the relief of cough associated with common colds, bronchitis, and other respiratory tract infections. It helps reduce airway inflammation and loosen phlegm for easier breathing. This formulation also alleviates symptoms of allergic rhinitis and mild asthma exacerbations.

Formulation / Ingredients
PLEMEX FORTE Lagundi Syrup contains: Vitex Negundo L. (Lagundi Leaf) 600mg per 5mL.

Side Effects

PLEMEX FORTE Lagundi Syrup common side effects include: mild stomach discomfort or nausea in sensitive individuals. Rare allergic reactions such as skin rashes or itching may occur, particularly in those with plant-based sensitivities.

Directions and Dosage

• Children 2-6 years: 2.5mL (½ teaspoon) twice daily. Do not exceed 5mL in 24 hours.
• Children 7-12 years: 5mL (1 teaspoon) twice daily. Do not exceed 10mL in 24 hours.
• Adolescents and adults (12+ years): 10mL (2 teaspoons) twice daily. Do not exceed 20mL in 24 hours.

Not recommended for children under 2 years. Maximum treatment duration: 7 days unless otherwise directed.

Contraindications

Avoid if hypersensitive to Lagundi or related plants. Not recommended for patients with severe liver impairment or history of severe allergic reactions to herbal formulations.

Special Precautions

• Monitor for signs of hypersensitivity during initial use
• Discontinue if persistent gastrointestinal discomfort occurs
• Use cautiously in patients with asthma or plant-based allergies

Is it safe to take it with other medications?

No significant interactions reported with common medications. Maintain adequate hydration during treatment to support mucus clearance. Always space doses 2 hours apart from other oral medications.

How should I store it?

Store below 30°C in a dry place. Keep bottle tightly closed and protect from direct sunlight. Do not freeze. Discard 4 weeks after opening.
