Side Effects

  • Children 6-12 years: 1 mL (50mg) 3 times daily. Maximum: 3 mL (150mg) in 24 hours.

Not recommended for infants under 1 month. Maximum treatment duration: 7 days unless otherwise directed. Always use the calibrated dropper for accurate dosing.

Contraindications

Avoid with known hypersensitivity to mucolytic agents. Contraindicated in active peptic ulcer disease or gastrointestinal hemorrhage. Not recommended for patients with severe renal impairment requiring dialysis.
