Indications / Uses

Loviscol Carbocisteine Drops is used for reducing mucus viscosity in respiratory conditions such as bronchitis, sinusitis, and COPD in infants and children. It facilitates expectoration and alleviates productive cough by thinning bronchial secretions. This mucolytic agent also supports airway clearance during respiratory tract infections with excessive phlegm production.

• Children 1-4 years: 25 mg (0.5 mL) 3 times daily. Maximum daily dosage: 150 mg (3 mL).
• Children 5-12 years: 50 mg (1 mL) 3 times daily. Maximum daily dosage: 300 mg (6 mL).
