It helps manage productive cough and airway congestion associated with acute and chronic bronchopulmonary disorders. This mucolytic agent assists in clearing thick bronchial secretions for improved breathing comfort.

Side Effects

Directions and Dosage

• Children 2-5 years: 5mL (250mg) twice daily
• Children 6-12 years: 10mL (500mg) twice daily
• Adolescents and adults (12+ years): 15mL (750mg) three times daily

Maximum daily dose: 2250mg (45mL). Not recommended for children under 2 years. Typical treatment duration: 8-10 days unless otherwise directed.

Contraindications
