Indications / Uses

DELCON FORTE is used for the symptomatic relief of nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, itchy eyes, and associated discomfort from allergies or common colds. It also reduces fever and mild to moderate pain such as headaches or body aches.

Formulation / Ingredients
DELCON FORTE contains: Phenylephrine HCl 10mg + Chlorphenamine Maleate 2mg + Paracetamol 500mg

Side Effects

DELCON FORTE common side effects include: drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, nausea, nervousness, or mild headache. Rare but serious effects may include rapid heartbeat, severe allergic reactions, breathing difficulties, or signs of liver problems (dark urine, yellowing skin).

Directions and Dosage

• Adults (18+ years): 1 tablet every 4-6 hours. Maximum 6 tablets in 24 hours.
• Adolescents (12-17 years): 1 tablet every 6 hours. Maximum 4 tablets in 24 hours.

Not recommended for children under 12. Maximum treatment duration: 7 days unless prescribed. Do not exceed stated dosage.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any component, severe hypertension, severe coronary artery disease, or concurrent MAOI use. Avoid with severe liver impairment or untreated glaucoma.

Special Precautions

• Avoid alcohol due to increased liver toxicity risk
• Use caution with thyroid disorders, diabetes, or mild-moderate hypertension
• Monitor for drowsiness; avoid driving or operating machinery

Is it safe to take it with other medications?

May interact with sedatives, antidepressants, or other antihistamines increasing drowsiness. Avoid with other paracetamol-containing products. Consult before combining with blood pressure medications.

How should I store it?

Store below 30°C in a dry place. Keep container tightly closed. Protect from light and moisture.
