Description

Indications

Used in the treatment of respiratory disorders associated with productive cough.

Dosage and Administration

Adults and children over 10 years old:

5mL (1 teaspoonful) 3 times daily or as directed by the physician. Administer with food.

6 months and below:

7 to 12 months - 0.5ml

13 to 24 months - 1ml

To be given twice daily or as prescribed by the physician - 1.25ml

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to ambroxol or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further detail.

Common side-effects

Nausea, Vomiting, Gastrointestinal discomfort
