Indications
Mucolytic; For the treatment of bronchopulmonary diseases associated with abnormal mucus secretion and clearance.
Dosage
As immediate-release preparation: 2-5 years 7.5-15 mg tid; 6-12 years 15-30 mg bid or tid; ≥12 years Same as adult dose.
Administration
Administer with food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to ambroxol or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further detail.
