Medrizine Cetirizine 10mg is used for relieving symptoms of allergic conditions like sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, and skin reactions. It effectively manages seasonal or perennial allergic rhinitis and chronic urticaria. This antihistamine provides 24-hour relief from allergy symptoms with once-daily dosing.

Side Effects

Directions and Dosage

• Adults and adolescents (12+ years): 1 tablet (10mg) once daily. Do not exceed 10mg in 24 hours.
• Children 6-12 years: ½ tablet (5mg) once daily or whole tablet every other day. Maximum daily dose: 10mg

Not recommended for children under 6 years. Maximum continuous use: 7 days unless otherwise directed for chronic conditions.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to piperazine derivatives. Avoid in severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance below 10 mL/min).

Special Precautions

• Use cautiously with central nervous system depressants
• May cause drowsiness - avoid driving if affected
• Maintain adequate hydration during use
• Discontinue if paradoxical agitation occurs
