Indications / Uses

Cetrisaph-OD Cetirizine Drops for Baby is used for symptomatic relief of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, chronic idiopathic urticaria, and allergic skin conditions in infants and young children. It effectively reduces itching, sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes associated with histamine-mediated allergic reactions.

Formulation / Ingredients
Cetrisaph-OD Cetirizine Drops for Baby contains: Cetirizine Dihydrochloride 2.5mg per 1mL + orange flavoring agents.

Side Effects

Cetrisaph-OD Cetirizine Drops for Baby common side effects include: drowsiness, dry mouth, mild gastrointestinal discomfort, or fatigue. Less frequently, headache or agitation may occur—discontinue use immediately if severe reactions like breathing difficulties or swelling develop.

Directions and Dosage

• Infants 6–12 months: 1mL (2.5mg) once daily
• Children 1–2 years: 1mL once or twice daily (every 12 hours)
• Children 2–6 years: 2mL once daily or 1mL twice daily (every 12 hours)

Maximum daily dose: 5mg (2mL) for children under 6 years. Not recommended for infants below 6 months. Duration: Use as needed for allergy symptoms.

Contraindications

Severe kidney impairment or known hypersensitivity to antihistamines. Avoid if previous adverse reactions to similar medications occurred.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

Excretion in breast milk may occur—avoid during lactation unless essential. Not recommended during pregnancy without medical assessment.

Special Precautions

• Avoid alcohol or sedatives to prevent increased drowsiness
• Use cautiously with mild kidney impairment
• Monitor for dizziness during activities requiring alertness
• Discontinue before allergy testing

Is it safe to take it with other medications?

May enhance drowsiness when combined with CNS depressants. Avoid concurrent use with other antihistamines unless directed.

How should I store it?

Store below 30°C in original container. Keep tightly closed and protect from light. Discard 6 months after opening.
