Indications / Uses

Allerkid Cetirizine Drops for Baby is used for relieving symptoms of allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, runny nose, and itchy eyes, as well as skin reactions like rashes and itching caused by allergies. It is also effective for managing allergic conjunctivitis in infants and children.

Formulation / Ingredients
Allerkid Cetirizine Drops for Baby contains: Cetirizine Dihydrochloride 2.5mg per 1mL + grape flavoring agents.

Side Effects

Allerkid Cetirizine Drops for Baby common side effects include: drowsiness, stomach pain, diarrhea, or nausea. Rare reactions may include hyperactivity, dry mouth, or mild skin rashes. Discontinue use if severe allergic reactions like swelling or breathing difficulties occur.

Directions and Dosage

• Infants 6–12 months: 1mL (2.5mg) once daily.
• Children 1–2 years: 1mL once or twice daily (every 12 hours).
• Children 2–5 years: 2mL once daily or 1mL twice daily.

Maximum daily dose: 5mg (2mL) for children under 6. Not recommended for infants below 6 months. Use only as directed.

Contraindications

Do not use in patients with severe kidney impairment or hypersensitivity to cetirizine. Avoid if previous allergic reactions to antihistamines occurred.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

Not recommended during pregnancy unless clearly needed. Excretion in breast milk may occur—consult a healthcare provider before use while breastfeeding.
