Allecur Cetirizine 10mg is used for relief of allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes and throat, as well as skin rashes including chronic idiopathic urticaria and allergic rhinitis. It is suitable for adults, adolescents, and children from 6 years and older who suffer from seasonal or perennial allergies.

Side Effects
Allecur Cetirizine 10mg common side effects include: drowsiness, headache, dizziness, dry mouth, nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and fatigue. Occasionally, allergic reactions such as rash or swelling may occur. Drowsiness is generally mild, but caution is advised.
Directions and Dosage
- Adults & Adolescents (12+ years): 1 tablet (10mg) once daily. Do not exceed 1 tablet (10mg) in 24 hours.
- Children 6–12 years: ½ tablet (5mg) twice daily. Do not exceed 1 tablet (10mg) in 24 hours.
Not recommended for children under 6 years old. Maximum daily dosage: 10mg. Duration depends on the allergy symptoms, but prolonged use should be avoided unless advised.
Contraindications
Do not use in cases of severe renal impairment or allergy to ingredients. Contraindicated when creatinine clearance is less than 10 mL/min.
Use in Pregnancy and Lactation
Use only if clearly needed and after careful assessment of possible risks and benefits. Enters breast milk in small amounts.
Special Precautions
- Caution in people with epilepsy or risk of convulsions.
- Caution with history of urinary retention or prostatic hyperplasia.
- Monitor for drowsiness, especially in children or elderly.
Is it safe to take it with other medications?
Increased risk of drowsiness if taken with other CNS depressants or alcohol. Inform about any other medicines taken to avoid interactions.
