KHRIZVER Mebendazole 500mg is used for treating worm infections like pinworm, roundworm, whipworm, and hookworm. It works by preventing worms from absorbing sugars needed for survival, effectively eliminating intestinal parasite infestations.

Side Effects

Directions and Dosage

• Adults and children 1 year+: 1 chewable tablet (500mg) as single dose. Repeat after 2-3 weeks if needed.
• Maximum daily dosage: 500mg per day. Do not exceed recommended dose.

Not recommended for infants below 1 year. Maximum treatment duration: 3 consecutive days for specific infections like whipworm.

Contraindications

Do not use with known hypersensitivity to benzimidazole compounds. Avoid in patients with liver impairment or inflammatory bowel disease. Contraindicated if previous allergic reactions to similar antiparasitic drugs occurred.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation
