Indications / Uses

DIATABS ADVANCE is used for the fast, total relief of acute non-specific diarrhea. Its dual-action formulation is effective against common symptoms associated with diarrhea, including painful abdominal cramps and uncomfortable bloating or pressure. This combination helps to slow down intestinal movement while simultaneously relieving the excess gas in the gastrointestinal tract, providing comprehensive relief.

Side Effects

DIATABS ADVANCE common side effects include: Headache, drowsiness, dizziness, and fatigue. Digestive system discomforts may also occur, such as nausea, vomiting, flatulence (gas), abdominal pain, or dry mouth. If abdominal swelling or an increase in digestive discomfort occurs, use of the product should be discontinued. These side effects are generally mild, but persistent issues may indicate a more serious underlying condition.

Directions and Dosage

It is important to drink plenty of clear fluids to help prevent dehydration when dealing with these symptoms.

• Dosage for Adults and Adolescents (12+ years): 2 capsules initially after the first loose stool, followed by 1 capsule after each subsequent loose stool. Do not exceed 4 capsules in 24 hours.
• Dosage for Kids 9–11 years (60 to 95 lbs): 1 capsule after the first loose stool, followed by ½ capsule after each subsequent loose stool. Do not exceed 3 capsules in 24 hours.
• Dosage for Kids 6–8 years (48 to 59 lbs): 1 capsule after the first loose stool, followed by ½ capsule after each subsequent loose stool. Do not exceed 2 capsules in 24 hours.

Do not use for children under 6 years of age. Maximum treatment duration is 2 days. If symptoms persist longer than 2 days, seek further evaluation.

Contraindications

Avoid use if there is a history of an unusual or allergic reaction to the components of this product. Do not use if you have: severe fever, black or bloody stools, mucus in the stool, or abdominal pain without diarrhea. It should also be avoided if a blockage of the intestines or abdominal distension is present, as it may worsen these conditions.

Special Precautions

• Tiredness, sleepiness, or lightheadedness may occur; exercise caution when operating machinery or driving until you know how this product affects you.
• Patients with a history of heart rhythm problems or liver issues should use this product with extreme caution.
• If symptoms worsen, or if swelling of the abdomen or other severe symptoms develop, stop using the product immediately.

Is it safe to take it with other medications?

Potential for interactions exists, particularly with the component that slows intestinal movement, which may increase the effects of or interact with certain other oral products. This component may also interact with prescription medications that affect the heart rhythm. It is important to be cautious when combining it with other products, especially those that can also cause drowsiness or constipation.

How should I store it?

Keep the product at room temperature, ideally between 20°C and 25°C (68°F and 77°F). It should be protected from light and moisture and kept securely away from the reach of children and pets.
