XYCLOVIRAX Aciclovir 200mg is used for the management of infections caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV), which includes initial and recurrent genital herpes and cold sores (herpes labialis). It is also utilized for the prophylaxis of HSV infections in immunocompromised individuals and for the treatment of infections caused by the varicella-zoster virus (VZV), such as chickenpox (varicella) and shingles (herpes zoster).
