Side Effects

CALTRATE ADVANCE common side effects include: constipation, flatulence, nausea, and abdominal bloating. Some users may experience gastrointestinal discomfort or diarrhea. In rare cases, prolonged intake of high doses can lead to hypercalcemia or hypercalciuria, characterized by excessive calcium levels in the blood or urine.

Directions and Dosage

  • Adults (18+ years): 1 tablet daily. Do not exceed 2 tablets in 24 hours.

Not recommended for children under 18 years without specific guidance. Maximum daily dosage: 2 tablets. Treatment duration is typically long-term for bone maintenance.

Contraindications

Avoid use if there is hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria, severe renal impairment, or kidney stones. Do not use if hypersensitive to any component of the formulation.

Special Precautions
