Side Effects
RAPCVIT Sodium Ascorbate common side effects include: gastrointestinal disturbances such such as stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, particularly when extremely high amounts are consumed. The daily use of doses greater than 2,000 mg may lead to the formation of oxalate stones in the kidneys. Other potential effects can include flushing of the face, headache, fatigue, and disturbed sleep.
Directions and Dosage
- Dosage for Adults: 1 capsule daily for regular maintenance.
- Increased resistance: 2 to 3 capsules daily may be taken for increased resistance against cold and flu.
Maximum daily dosage should not exceed 2,000 mg (or 4 capsules of 500mg strength).
Contraindications
