This combination supplement works to boost the body's natural defense against damaging free radicals due to its strong antioxidant properties. Furthermore, the ingredients are essential cofactors that promote the formation of collagen and accelerate the process of wound healing.

FERN-C PLUS Ascorbic Acid with Zinc contains: Ascorbic Acid 500mg (equivalent to Sodium Ascorbate 562.43mg) + Zinc 10mg (equivalent to Zinc Gluconate 70mg)

Side Effects

FERN-C PLUS Ascorbic Acid with Zinc common side effects include: gastrointestinal disturbances such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, abdominal cramps, and diarrhea. The frequency of these effects generally increases with higher amounts, particularly when intake exceeds 1 gram of the vitamin daily or 40 mg of the mineral. In rare instances, very high amounts of the mineral may lead to acute toxicity symptoms like fever and a metallic taste. Taking the capsules with food may help to reduce the occurrence of stomach irritation.

Directions and Dosage

The capsule should be taken orally.

• Dosage for Adults: 1 capsule once a day.

Do not exceed the daily amount. Not recommended for use in children.
