CEVIT Ascorbic Acid 500mg common side effects include: heartburn, nausea, stomach cramps, and diarrhea, especially at high doses. Less frequently, it may cause headache or insomnia. Prolonged excessive intake can lead to kidney stones or iron overload in susceptible individuals.

Directions and Dosage

• Adults (18+ years): 1 tablet daily. Maximum: 2 tablets (1,000mg) in 24 hours unless medically directed.
• Adolescents (12-17 years): 1 tablet daily. Do not exceed 1,000mg daily.

Not recommended for children under 12 without medical guidance. Avoid prolonged high-dose use exceeding 2 weeks unless prescribed.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to ascorbic acid or any component. Severe renal impairment, history of oxalate kidney stones, or hemochromatosis.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation
