Indications/Uses
Non-acidic Vitamin C for the treatment and prevention of Vitamin C deficiency. Strengthens immune system. Antioxidant. Stimulates collagen synthesis. Helps in wound healing and regeneration process.
Dosage/Direction for Use
One tablet daily or as prescribed by the physician.

Missed dose: Take the next dose if the patient missed a dose.

Overdosage
Ascorbic acid in excess of body's needs is also rapidly eliminated unchanged in the urine; this generally occurs when exceeding 100 mg daily. It is removed by hemodialysis.
Prolonged or excessive use of Vitamin C preparations may cause erosion of tooth enamel. Large doses of ascorbic acid have resulted in hemolysis in patients with G6PD Deficiency.

Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Use In Pregnancy & Lactation
Ascorbic acid in doses greater than 1 g daily should not be taken during pregnancy since the effect of large doses on the fetus was unknown. Ascorbic acid crosses the placenta and is distributed into breast milk.
Storage
Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.
