Indications / Uses

NEUROBASE Vitamin B Complex is used for the prevention and treatment of deficiencies in Vitamins B1, B6, and B12. It is particularly effective in the management of neuromuscular disorders such as neuritis and various forms of neuralgia, including lower back pain and sciatica. By supplying essential neurotropic vitamins, it helps support the regeneration of nerve fibers and alleviates symptoms like numbness, muscle weakness, and tingling sensations in the extremities.

NEUROBASE Vitamin B Complex contains: Vitamin B1 (Thiamine Mononitrate) 100mg + Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride) 5mg + Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) 50mcg

Side Effects

NEUROBASE Vitamin B Complex common side effects include: mild digestive complaints such as nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. In some cases, allergic hypersensitivity reactions may occur, including skin rashes, itching, or hives. High doses of certain components taken over a prolonged period may rarely cause sensory nerve disturbances or localized tingling sensations.

Directions and Dosage

• Adults (18+ years): 1 capsule daily. In severe cases, 2 capsules daily may be taken. Do not exceed 2 capsules in 24 hours.
• Adolescents (12–17 years): 1 capsule daily. Do not exceed 1 capsule in 24 hours.

Not recommended for children under 12 years of age. Maximum treatment duration for intensive supplementation is 30 days unless otherwise specified for chronic maintenance.

Contraindications

Prohibited for use by individuals with known hypersensitivity to any of the B-vitamins or any excipients in the capsule. It is contraindicated in patients with Leber's disease or hereditary optic nerve atrophy and those with severe hepatic or renal dysfunction.

Special Precautions

• Avoid long-term administration of high doses to prevent potential neurotoxicity.
• May cause a harmless yellow discoloration of the urine due to vitamin excretion.
• Caution is required in patients with pre-existing conditions like peptic ulcer or high uric acid levels.

Is it safe to take it with other medications?

The efficacy may be compromised if taken with levodopa used for Parkinson's disease. Substances such as loop diuretics and certain antituberculosis agents can significantly reduce the levels of these vitamins in the system.

How should I store it?

Store in a cool, dry place at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Protect from direct sunlight and keep the capsules in their original blister pack to avoid moisture.
