Pharmaton Kiddi Syrup covers a child's increasing demand for vitamins and minerals important for growth.
It is used for poorly balanced or inadequate diet or loss of appetite.
It can be used as a restorative in convalescence.

Dosage/Direction for Use
Children 1 to 5 years: 7.5 mL per day.
School children and adolescents: 15 mL per day.
The syrup should be taken with breakfast or lunch.
Pharmaton Kiddi Syrup may also be diluted with water or mixed with food.
The syrup may show natural turbidity which is due to some of the excipients but this does not impair its efficacy.
Shake well before use.
This product contains 3.6 g of carbohydrates per dose of 15 mL (information for diabetics).

Overdosage
The toxicity of the product in large overdoses of 25000 - 50000 IU (contained in 937 - 1875 mL syrup) will be that of the liposoluble vitamin D.

Prolonged daily intake of larger amounts corresponds to about 2000 IU (contained in 75 mL syrup) can cause symptoms of chronic toxicity such as vomiting, headache, drowsiness and diarrhea.

Contraindications
Those who have disturbances of calcium metabolism (hypercalcaemia and hypercalciuria), hypervitaminosis D, renal insufficiency, calcium based kidney stones, therapy with vitamin D, phenylketonuria, hypersensitivity to any ingredients of the product.
In case of rare hereditary conditions that may be incompatible with the excipient of the products, the use of the product is contraindicated.
Patients with the rare hereditary condition of fructose intolerance should not take this medicine. This product contains 2.6 g of sorbitol per maximum recommended daily dose of 15 mL.
