Valcamp

VALCAMP is used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). It combines two medications, amlodipine and valsartan, to help lower blood pressure. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes and widens blood vessels, while valsartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that blocks a substance that causes blood vessels to tighten. This combination helps to improve blood flow and reduce the workload on the heart.

VALCAMP Amlodipine / Valsartan 5 / 160 is used for the treatment of high blood pressure, also known as hypertension. It is typically prescribed for adults whose blood pressure remains insufficiently managed despite prior treatment with either amlodipine or valsartan as a single medication. This fixed-dose combination can also be considered as an initial treatment when multiple blood pressure-lowering drugs are deemed necessary to achieve target goals.
