NOTE: Please note that the following is a generic description of compounded Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD+). We do not maintain any pre-compounded stock of this product. The compounded product is prepared only after an order is placed. This information is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, a recommendation for treatment, or an endorsement of any specific therapy. The preparation of the compounded product is subject to applicable local regulations and standards.
Indications / Uses
Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD+) is used to support cellular energy metabolism and mitochondrial function, particularly in individuals experiencing fatigue, brain fog, or signs of cellular aging. It may also be used to aid detoxification, support neurological function, and enhance athletic recovery. It has been studied for its role in age-related conditions and neurodegenerative disorders.
Expected Results
Effectiveness: NAD+ serves as a coenzyme critical in redox reactions and energy production, helping restore cellular function, repair DNA, and regulate oxidative stress.
Onset: Effects may vary; some individuals report improved energy and mental clarity within hours to days, while others notice benefits over several weeks.
Clinical Evidence: Emerging clinical research supports NAD+ therapy for improving mitochondrial function, energy levels, and cognitive performance.
What's in the Box?
Your package should include:
- One (1) Vial of Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD+) 500mg Lyophilized Powder for Reconstitution
- One (1) 5mL Non-bacteriostatic Sterile Water for Injection (SWFI) ampule
- One (1) 5mL Syringe (for reconstitution only)
- Nine (9) Alcohol Swabs
- Nine (9) 1mL Syringes
Dosage / Direction
Each vial contains 500mg of NAD+, and is intended to be administered slowly. Typically, this is done via IV drip infusion therapy at a wellness clinic, where the NAD+ solution is introduced into the bloodstream over the course of a couple of hours.
Important: Do not attempt self-intravenous injection unless trained. For safety and ease, subcutaneous (belly fat) injection using an insulin syringe is recommended.
Standard dosing protocols:
- 100mg to 500mg NAD+ per injection, administered 2 to 3 times per week
Testing Sensitivity: For first-time users, begin with a lower dose to evaluate tolerance. A typical sensitivity test is 25mg administered subcutaneously.
If reconstituted with 5mL of sterile water, the following dosing conversions apply:
- 25mg = 0.25mL (25 units)
- 50mg = 0.50mL (50 units)
- 100mg = 1.00mL (100 units)
Missed Dose: If a dose is missed, administer as soon as possible unless it is close to the time of the next scheduled dose.
How to Reconstitute NAD+?
- Clean your hands thoroughly and prepare a sterile surface.
- Disinfect the rubber stopper of the NAD+ vial with an alcohol swab.
- Draw 5mL of non-bacteriostatic SWFI into the 5mL syringe (or in parts).
- Slowly inject the SWFI into the vial containing NAD+ powder.
- Mix gently until fully dissolved and a clear solution is obtained.
- Use a new syringe for administration and dispose of used needles in a sharps container.
Avoiding Needle-Stick Injury
- Use one-handed recapping techniques.
- Dispose of all sharps in approved containers.
- Avoid distractions and clutter during preparation.
Administration Instructions
- Disinfect the injection site with an alcohol swab.
- Draw the appropriate dose from the reconstituted vial using a 1mL syringe.
- Administer the injection subcutaneously or as directed.
- Dispose of used materials safely.
Sample Dosing Schedule This is a general example and not a replacement for medical advice.
Week 1
- Day 1: 25mg
- Day 2: 50mg
- Day 3: 75mg
- Days 4–7: 100mg per day
Week 2
- 100mg per day for 7 days
Week 3 and Onward
- 100mg every other day or 3–4 times per week
Each injection may last in effect for 4 to 6 weeks depending on NAD+ levels.
Side-effects
Common side effects may include nausea, flushing, mild headache, or local site irritation.
Warnings:
- Individuals with hypersensitivity to NAD+ or any excipients should avoid use.
- Use cautiously in patients with hypotension or cardiac conditions due to vasodilatory effects.
- Do not self-administer IV unless properly trained in venipuncture.
Contraindications
- Known allergy to NAD+
- Pregnancy and lactation unless advised by a healthcare provider
Is it safe to take it with other drugs?
NAD+ is generally considered safe and does not have significant interactions with most common medications. However, always consult with a healthcare provider for specific interactions.
