SAPHROBIDE-30 Isosorbide Mononitrate 30mg is used for the long-term prevention and treatment of angina pectoris, or chest pain, caused by coronary artery disease. It is a vasodilator that helps by relaxing the blood vessels, which increases the supply of blood and oxygen to the heart while reducing its workload. This prolonged-release formulation is not intended to treat an acute angina attack that has already started, as it does not work fast enough.
