Indications / Uses

VENTO BRONCHO M Syrup is used for the symptomatic management of respiratory conditions involving bronchospasm, excessive mucus production, and difficult expectoration. It provides triple-action relief by combining a bronchodilator, expectorant, and mucolytic agent. This formulation is effective for productive cough in bronchitis, COPD exacerbations, and other obstructive airway diseases with viscous secretions.

Formulation / Ingredients
VENTO BRONCHO M Syrup contains: Salbutamol 1mg + Guaifenesin 50mg + Bromhexine Hydrochloride 4mg per 5mL.

Side Effects

VENTO BRONCHO M Syrup common side effects include: mild tremors, headache, nausea, and gastrointestinal discomfort. Less frequently, palpitations or allergic skin reactions may occur. These effects are typically transient and dose-dependent.

Directions and Dosage

• Adults and Adolescents (12+ years): 10mL (2 teaspoonfuls) 3-4 times daily. Maximum: 40mL in 24 hours.
• Children (6-11 years): 5mL (1 teaspoonful) 3 times daily. Maximum: 15mL in 24 hours.
• Children (2-5 years): 2.5mL (½ teaspoonful) 3 times daily. Maximum: 7.5mL in 24 hours.

Not recommended for children under 2 years. Use measuring device provided. Maximum treatment duration: 7 days unless directed otherwise.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to sympathomimetics or mucolytics. Severe cardiac arrhythmias, active peptic ulcer disease, or uncontrolled hyperthyroidism.

Special Precautions

• Monitor for tachycardia in cardiovascular disease patients
• Use cautiously in diabetes or hepatic impairment
• Avoid in acute asthma attacks requiring emergency care

Is it safe to take it with other medications?

Avoid with non-selective beta-blockers (e.g., propranolol) which may antagonize effects. Use cautiously with other cough suppressants. Disclose all current medications before use.

How should I store it?

Store below 30°C in original container. Keep tightly closed. Protect from light and moisture. Discard 1 month after opening.
