It is also indicated for prophylaxis of exercise-induced bronchospasm. The inhaler provides fast symptom control in acute episodes and helps maintain open airways for easier breathing.

Side Effects
SALBUMIN Salbutamol inhaler common side effects include: headache, tremor, nervousness, palpitations, dizziness, muscle cramps, insomnia, mouth and throat irritation, and rarely, increased heart rate. Side effects are generally mild and transient.
Directions and Dosage
- Adults (18+ years): 1–2 inhalations every 4–6 hours as needed. Maximum: 8 inhalations (800mcg) in 24 hours.
- Children 4–11 years: 1–2 inhalations every 4–6 hours as needed. Maximum: 8 inhalations in 24 hours.
- Children 12 years and above: Use same dosage as adults.
Not recommended for children under 4 years. Duration of use depends on symptom control.
Contraindications
Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to any component of the inhaler. Not indicated for arrest of premature labor or threatened abortion.
