Pulmodual MDI Salbutamol / Ipratropium Inhaler is used for maintenance treatment of bronchospasm in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) including chronic bronchitis and emphysema. It helps relieve breathing difficulties and prevents exacerbations in patients with reversible airway obstruction. This combination inhaler works by relaxing airway muscles and reducing bronchial secretions for improved respiratory function.

Side Effects
Pulmodual MDI Salbutamol / Ipratropium Inhaler common side effects include: Headache, dry mouth, and throat irritation. Less frequently, palpitations, fine tremors, and paradoxical bronchospasm may occur. Hypersensitivity reactions including urticaria and taste disturbances are rare but possible.
Directions and Dosage
- Adults and adolescents 12+ years: 1-2 puffs 4 times daily. Maximum: 12 puffs in 24 hours.
- Children 6-11 years: 1 puff 4 times daily. Maximum: 8 puffs in 24 hours.
Not recommended for children under 6 years. Shake well before each use. Rinse mouth after inhalation to prevent oral thrush. Maximum continuous use should be under medical supervision.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any component. Tachyarrhythmias or severe tachycardias. Hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy. Uncontrolled hyperthyroidism. Urinary retention conditions.
Special Precautions
- Use cautiously in cardiovascular disorders including hypertension
- Monitor intraocular pressure in glaucoma patients
- Risk of hypokalemia with high doses
- Caution in prostate enlargement or bladder obstruction
Is it safe to take it with other medications?
Concomitant use with other beta-agonists may increase cardiovascular effects. Anticholinergic drugs may enhance systemic side effects. Beta-blockers may reduce therapeutic effectiveness.
How should I store it?
Store below 30°C with valve upright. Protect from frost and direct sunlight. Discard 3 months after opening or when counter shows zero.
