Side Effects
PECOF Syrup 100mL common side effects include: tremors, nervousness, headache, nausea, and mild gastrointestinal discomfort. Directions and Dosage
- Children 6-12 years: 5mL (Salbutamol 2mg/Bromhexine 4mg/Guaifenesin 100mg) 3 times daily. Maximum: 15mL in 24 hours.
- Adolescents (12-17 years): 5-10mL 3 times daily. Maximum: 30mL in 24 hours.
- Adults (18+ years): 10mL 3 times daily. Maximum: 30mL in 24 hours.
Not recommended for children under 6 years. Take after meals to reduce stomach upset. Maximum treatment duration: 5 days unless otherwise directed.
Contraindications
Avoid with severe cardiac disorders, uncontrolled hyperthyroidism, or hypersensitivity to sympathomimetics. Contraindicated during acute asthma attacks requiring emergency care. Not recommended for peptic ulcers or seizure disorders.
