Indications/Uses
Salbutamol + Bromhexine + Guaifenesin (Pecof SF) Syrup will be useful in the following disorders: Bronchial Asthma, Emphysema, Atelectasis, Acute and Chronic Bronchitis, Bronchiectasis, Pulmonary Tuberculosis, Whooping Cough, Pneumonia, Other Broncho-Spastic conditions.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Pecof SF: Adults: 10 ml (2 teaspoons) 3 times daily.
Children: 6-12 years 5 ml-10 ml (1-2 teaspoons) 3 times daily.
Below 6 years: 2.5 ml (1/2 teaspoon) 3 times daily.
The above doses may have to be raised in some patients to get the desired effect.

Administration
Should be taken with food.
Special Precautions
Pecof SF: Salbutamol + Bromhexine + Guaifenesin (Pecof SF) Syrup should be used with caution in patients of hyperthroidism, diabetes mellitus, serious cardiovascular disorders, hypertension and peptic ulcers.
Adverse Reactions
These are generally mild and rare. Skeletal muscle tremor particularly of the hands, palpitations and muscle cramps are seen occasionally. Slight tachycardia, headache and peripheral vasodilation have been reported after large doses.
Drug Interactions
Diuretics, MAOIs, digoxin.
Storage
Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light. Pecof SF: Shake well.
