GUIACOF PLUS Guaifenesin / Salbutamol is used for relieving respiratory conditions involving mucus accumulation and bronchospasm. It helps alleviate symptoms associated with productive cough, asthma, bronchitis, and other bronchial disorders by loosening mucus and expanding airways for easier breathing.

Side Effects

GUIACOF PLUS Guaifenesin / Salbutamol common side effects include: nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, nervousness, tremors, and palpitations. Less frequent reactions may include muscle cramps, gastrointestinal discomfort, or mild allergic skin reactions. Seek medical attention if experiencing chest pain or breathing difficulties.

Directions and Dosage

• Adults (18+ years): 1 capsule 3-4 times daily. Maximum daily dose: 4 capsules.
• Adolescents 12-17 years: 1 capsule 2-3 times daily. Maximum daily dose: 3 capsules.

Not recommended for children under 12 without medical approval. Maximum treatment duration: 7 days unless directed otherwise.

Contraindications

Do not use with known hypersensitivity to components, severe cardiac disorders, hyperthyroidism, or uncontrolled hypertension. Avoid in cases of tachycardia or severe hepatic impairment.

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation

Not recommended during pregnancy unless clearly necessary. Potential excretion in breast milk—avoid use while breastfeeding.
