Indications
Used in the treatment of respiratory affections characterized by thick and viscous hypersecretions such as bronchitis and its exacerbations, pulmonary emphysema, mucoviscidosis and bronchiectasis.
Dosage
Adult: 600mg daily or 200mg twice a day or three times a day.
Children: 100mg twice a day or four times a day according to age, or as prescribed by the physician.
Dissolve the tablets or granules in a glass containing a small quantity of water. Mix if necessary, with a spoon and drink immediately.
Administration
Administer with food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to acetylcysteine or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further details.
It is contraindicated in children below 2 years of age.

Nausea, Vomiting, Rash, Fever, Gastrointestinal discomfort
