Indications
Used to rapidly treat asthma, bronchospasm, and reversible airway obstruction by widening the airways of the lungs.
Dosage
2-6 years 1-2 mg; >6-12 years 2 mg; >12 years Same as adult dose. All doses are given 3 or 4 times daily
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to salbutamol or any component of the formulation. Refer to manufacturer labeling for further detail.
