Formulation / Ingredients
BRODIX Salbutamol Nebule contains: Salbutamol Sulfate 1mg per mL + Sodium Chloride 9mg per mL.
Side Effects
BRODIX Salbutamol Nebule common side effects include: tremors, headaches, tachycardia, muscle cramps, and throat irritation. Less frequently reported reactions include hypokalemia, dizziness, and paradoxical bronchospasm. Discontinue use immediately if experiencing chest pain or severe allergic reactions.
Directions and Dosage
- Adults and Adolescents (12+ years): 1 nebule (2.5mL) via nebulizer every 4-6 hours as needed.
- Children (4-11 years): 0.5-1 nebule (1.25-2.5mL) via nebulizer every 4-6 hours. Maximum daily dose: 4 nebules.
- Infants (under 4 years): 0.1-0.2 mL/kg per dose every 6-8 hours. Maximum single dose: 2.5mL.
Maximum daily dosage: 8 nebules (20mL). Not recommended for infants below 6 months without medical supervision.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to salbutamol or formulation components. Avoid with tachycardia, severe cardiac arrhythmias, and hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy.
Use in Pregnancy and Lactation
Limited safety data available. Use only if potential benefit justifies fetal risk. Excreted in breast milk—monitor infants for irritability.
Special Precautions

Is it safe to take it with other medications?
