It provides rapid relief by relaxing airway muscles and improving airflow to the lungs. This syrup is also prescribed for reversible airway obstruction caused by exercise or allergens.

Asmacon Salbutamol Syrup contains: Salbutamol sulfate 2mg per 5mL + glycerol + sorbitol + purified water + flavoring agents.

Side Effects

Directions and Dosage
- Adults and adolescents (12+ years): 5mL (2mg) every 6-8 hours. Maximum daily dose: 24mg (60mL).
- Children 6–12 years: 2.5mL (1mg) every 6-8 hours. Maximum daily dose: 8mg (20mL).
- Children 2–6 years: 1.25mL (0.5mg) every 6-8 hours. Maximum daily dose: 4mg (10mL).
Not recommended for children under 2 without medical supervision. Maximum treatment duration: 1 week unless prescribed.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to β2-agonists, uncontrolled arrhythmias, or severe tachycardia. Avoid use with pre-existing cardiovascular conditions like hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
