Asmacaire Salbutamol Nebule contains: Salbutamol sulfate 1mg/mL (2.5mg per 2.5mL nebule).

Side Effects

Directions and Dosage
- Adults & Adolescents (12+ years): 1 nebule (2.5mg) diluted in saline, inhaled via nebulizer every 4-6 hours as needed. Maximum: 4 doses/day.
- Children (4-11 years): ½–1 nebule (1.25–2.5mg) per dose, max 4 doses/day.
Not recommended for children under 4 without medical supervision. Treatment duration should not exceed 7 days without reassessment.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to salbutamol or sulfites. Avoid with uncontrolled hyperthyroidism, severe heart arrhythmias, or tachycardia.
Special Precautions
- Use cautiously in patients with cardiovascular diseases or diabetes.
- Monitor for paradoxical bronchospasm or hypokalemia with high doses.
