Indications / Uses
HARFURIN Nitrofurantoin 100mg is used for the treatment of acute, uncomplicated infections within the lower urinary tract, such as the bladder, that are caused by susceptible strains of bacteria. It works as an antibacterial agent, concentrating its activity specifically in the urine to eliminate the pathogens responsible for the infection. This preparation may also be used for long-term prophylactic management to prevent the recurrence of urinary tract infections in susceptible individuals.
