Indications / Uses of GASAIDE Dicycloverine 10mg Tablet

Dicycloverine Hydrochloride Tablets contain dicycloverine hydrochloride, which is a medicine that helps reduce muscle spasms. It is used to treat cramps, stomach or intestinal pain, and digestive problems like irritable bowel syndrome, all of which are related to muscle spasms.
Dicycloverine works by relaxing the muscles in the stomach and intestines, preventing sudden muscle contractions or spasms. This helps relieve symptoms such as cramps, pain, bloating, gas, and discomfort.
 

What are the side-effects of GASAIDE Dicycloverine 10mg Tablet?

This medication, like all others, can have side effects, though not everyone experiences them.
Stop using Dicycloverine Hydrochloride Tablets and seek immediate medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction such as:
  • rash
  • difficulty swallowing or breathing
  • or swelling of the lips, face, throat, or tongue.
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if any of these side effects become severe or persist for more than a few days:
  • dry mouth or thirst
  • dizziness
  • drowsiness
  • blurred vision
  • rash
  • loss of appetite
  • nausea or vomiting
  • constipation
  • headache
  • difficulty urinating

Dosage / Direction for Use of GASAIDE Dicycloverine 10mg Tablet

For Adults and Children aged 12 years and older:
Take either one 10 mg tablet or one 20 mg tablet three times daily.

For Children aged 2 to 12 years:
Take one 10 mg tablet three times daily.

For younger children where tablets are not suitable, Dicycloverine Hydrochloride 10mg/5ml Oral Solution is recommended instead.
 
To take this medicine:
Swallow the tablets with a glass of water.
You can take the tablets either before or after meals.
 

Contraindications

Do not take Dicycloverine Hydrochloride Tablets if:
  • you are allergic to dicycloverine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
  • you have intestinal obstruction (blocked bowel)
  • you have reflux oesophagitis (inflammation of the lining of the oesophagus due to stomach acid reflux)
  • you have severe inflammation of the large intestines (large bowel)
  • you have unstable heart condition
  • you have glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye)
  • you have urinary tract obstruction (blocked urination)
  • you have myasthenia gravis (muscle weakness)
  • you have severe diarrhoea caused by a certain bacterium called Salmonella
as Dicycloverine may not be suitable for you.
 

Special Precautions

Before taking Dicycloverine Hydrochloride Tablets, inform your doctor if you have the following conditions:
  • heart diseases e.g. heart failure, abnormal heart rhythm, narrowing of the blood vessels of the heart
  • high blood pressure
  • overactive thyroid
  • nerve damage (autonomic neuropathy)
  • enlarged prostate gland
  • mild to moderate inflammation of the large intestines (large bowel)
  • fever
  • mental illness
  • kidney disease
  • liver disease

Pregnancy and breast-feeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

Driving and using machines
Dicycloverine Hydrochloride Tablets should not typically affect driving or machine use, they may cause dizziness, tiredness, sleepiness, or blurred vision. If these symptoms occur, it advises against driving or operating machinery.

Mga Indikasyon / Gamit ng GASAIDE Dicycloverine 10mg Tablet

Ang Dicycloverine Hydrochloride Tablets ay naglalaman ng dicycloverine hydrochloride, na isang gamot na tumutulong sa pagbawas ng pamamaga ng mga kalamnan. Ginagamit ito upang gamutin ang mga pulikat, pananakit ng tiyan o bituka, at mga problema sa pagtunaw tulad ng irritable bowel syndrome, na may kaugnayan sa pamamaga ng mga kalamnan.

Dosage / Direksyon sa Paggamit ng GASAIDE Dicycloverine 10mg Tablet

Para sa mga Matanda at mga Bata na may edad na 12 taon pataas:
Uminom ng alinman sa isang 10 mg tablet o isang 20 mg tablet tatlong beses araw-araw.

Para sa mga Bata na may edad na 2 hanggang 12 taong gulang:
Uminom ng isang 10 mg tablet tatlong beses araw-araw.

Para sa mas batang mga bata kung saan ang mga tablet ay hindi angkop, inirerekomenda ang Dicycloverine Hydrochloride 10mg/5ml Oral Solution sa halip.

Paano inumin ang gamot na ito:
Lunukin ang mga tablet kasama ng isang baso ng tubig.
Maaari mong inumin ang mga tableta bago o pagkatapos kumain.
 

Kontraindikasyon

Huwag uminom ng Dicycloverine Hydrochloride Tablets kung:
  • allergic ka sa dicycloverine hydrochloride o sa anumang iba pang sangkap ng gamot na ito.
  • mayroon kang intestinal obstruction (naipit na bituka)
  • mayroon kang reflux oesophagitis (pamamaga ng lining ng esophagus dahil sa stomach acid reflux)
  • mayroon kang malubhang pamamaga ng malaking bituka
  • mayroon kang hindi stable na kalagayan ng puso
  • mayroon kang glaucoma (taas ng presyon sa mata)
  • mayroon kang obstruction sa urinary tract (barado ang pag-ihi)
  • mayroon kang myasthenia gravis (kahinaan ng mga kalamnan)
  • mayroon kang malubhang diarrhea sanhi ng bacterium na Salmonella
sapagkat ang Dicycloverine ay maaaring hindi angkop para sa iyo.
 

Espesyal na mga Pag-iingat

Bago uminom ng Dicycloverine Hydrochloride Tablets, ipaalam sa iyong doktor kung mayroon kang mga sumusunod na kondisyon:
  • mga sakit sa puso tulad ng heart failure, abnormal heart rhythm, pagpapaliit ng mga daluyan ng dugo sa puso
  • mataas na presyon ng dugo
  • overactive thyroid

Pagmamaneho at paggamit ng mga makina
Ang Dicycloverine Hydrochloride Tablets sa pangkalahatan ay hindi dapat makaapekto sa pagmamaneho o paggamit ng makina, ngunit maaaring magdulot ng pagkahilo, pagkapagod, antok, o labo ng paningin. Kung mangyari ang mga sintomas na ito, hindi inirerekomenda ang pagmamaneho o pag-ooperate ng makina.
 

Ligtas ba inumin ang Dicycloverine 10mg Tablet kasama ang ibang gamot?
