It is effective against conditions such as bacterial conjunctivitis, blepharitis, and keratitis, helping to eliminate bacterial pathogens and reduce inflammation. This medication is particularly useful for treating infections involving Pseudomonas aeruginosa and other gram-negative organisms.

Side Effects
RAMITOB Tobramycin Eye Drops common side effects include: temporary eye irritation, burning, or stinging upon application; itching, redness, and watery eyes. Some users may experience eyelid itching, swelling, or a sensation of having something in the eye. These reactions are typically mild and subside quickly. Discontinue use and seek medical advice if severe reactions like rash or vision changes occur.
Directions and Dosage
- Adults and Adolescents (12+ years): Instill 1 to 2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 4 to 6 hours. For severe infections, dosage may be increased to 2 drops every 2 to 4 hours initially.
- Children (2-11 years): Instill 1 drop into the affected eye(s) every 4 to 6 hours. Do not exceed 6 drops daily per eye.
Not recommended for children under 2 years without medical supervision. Treatment should generally continue for 7 to 10 days. Do not exceed 14 days of continuous use without medical advice.
Contraindications
Do not use if you have a known hypersensitivity or allergic reaction to tobramycin, other aminoglycoside antibiotics, or any component of the formulation. Avoid use in viral eye infections unless there is a confirmed bacterial component.
Special Precautions
- Avoid allowing the dropper tip to contact any surface to prevent contamination.
- Do not wear contact lenses while experiencing an eye infection.
- Discontinue use immediately if signs of allergic reaction appear.
Is it safe to take it with other medications?
Inform your healthcare provider about all other eye medications you are using. Wait at least 5 minutes before applying other ophthalmic products to prevent interactions and ensure proper absorption.
How should I store it?
Store at room temperature (15°C to 30°C). Keep the bottle tightly closed and protect from light. Do not freeze. Discard the bottle 4 weeks after first opening.
