HYAVISC Sodium Hyaluronate Eye Drops is used for lubricating and relieving dry eye symptoms caused by environmental factors, prolonged screen use, or post-operative recovery. It provides long-lasting moisture to the ocular surface and aids in corneal healing. These drops are also effective for managing discomfort associated with contact lens wear.
Formulation / Ingredients
HYAVISC Sodium Hyaluronate Eye Drops contains: Sodium Hyaluronate 1mg/mL (0.1%)
Side Effects
HYAVISC Sodium Hyaluronate Eye Drops common side effects include: temporary blurred vision, mild eye irritation, or foreign body sensation. Rarely, it may cause allergic reactions like eyelid swelling or persistent redness requiring discontinuation.
Directions and Dosage
Dosage for Adults/Adolescents: 1-2 drops in each affected eye, 3-4 times daily. Maximum frequency: Every 2 hours if severe dryness persists.
Dosage for Children (2-12 years): 1 drop in each eye, 2-3 times daily. Consult specialist for infants below 2 years.
Duration: Use as needed. Remove contact lenses before application; reinsert after 15 minutes.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid derivatives or benzalkonium chloride. Avoid use with active ocular infections (bacterial/viral/fungal).
Special Precautions
Avoid touching dropper tip to eyelids/fingers to prevent contamination. Discontinue if vision disturbances persist. Not for injection or oral use.
Is it safe to take it with other medications?
Wait 5-10 minutes between applications of different eye drops. Consult specialist when using with topical NSAIDs or steroid eye medications.
How should I store it?
Store unopened at 2-25°C. After opening, use within 30 days. Keep tightly closed and protected from light.
