Side Effects

Directions and Dosage
- Adults (18+ years): 1 tablet twice daily with meals. Maximum daily dose: Empagliflozin 10mg + Metformin 2000mg.
Not recommended for patients under 18 years. Renal function must be assessed before initiation: Do not use if eGFR below 30 mL/min/1.73m². Discontinue if dehydration occurs. Long-term treatment requires regular monitoring.
Contraindications
Severe kidney impairment (eGFR <30 mL/min/1.73m²), metabolic acidosis, ketoacidosis, or hypersensitivity to components. Avoid in dialysis patients and those with severe infections.
Use in Pregnancy and Lactation
Not recommended during pregnancy due to potential fetal risks. Discontinue immediately if pregnancy occurs. Contraindicated during breastfeeding as components pass into breast milk.

Is it safe to take it with other medications?
