Indications / Uses
DIAMICRON Gliclazide 80mg is used for the management of non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (Type 2 diabetes) in adult patients. It is prescribed when strict dietary control, increased physical activity, and weight loss measures alone are insufficient to normalize blood sugar levels. This tablet belongs to the sulfonylurea class of medicines, which works by supporting the body’s natural insulin release.
